Cakes for my boy!

Hard to believe Carter is 4! I made these cakes for his birthday. One for a celebration at my mom and dads and one at the in laws. They were a hit! Especially since they were chocolate on the inside!

Edible Wreath

Yummy appetizer wreath is so festive! I made this one for a work potluck!

Sugar Scrubs

I made some scrubs as Christmas gifts for the ladies in my life.  I think the lemon hand scrub will be great after cutting up smelly things like garlic and onions.  The yummy cinnamon vanilla body scrub smelled so good! 

Ruffly Scarf

I think this is probably too ruffly for me, but I think its really cute!  It was a little harder to make than I expected. What do you think?  Is it your style?

My Creative Passions

I love sharing food of all kinds. My primary expressions of culinary creativity over the last several months have been cupcakes.  I love to cook and I love the joy that a cupcake brings to someone! A few of my recent cupcake creations:

Creative Inspiration

Anyone who knew my grandmother, knew that she was one of the most creative, beautiful people who ever graced our lives.  She taught me to can, make jelly and jam, sew and so much more.  Much of it I have, sadly forgotten, but what I haven't forgotten is the joy that comes from creating beautiful or delicious things and the joy of sharing them with others!

So, to my Granny - This journey is to honor you, I hope you are proud and smile down on me from time to time!
